Welcome back to Kirsty Gibbings who has been away in Singapore
representing the SA U/17 team at the Junior Olympic Games.
South Africa finished 12th overall.
Kirsty has been selected to attend the SA National Youth
training camp which will be held in Durban from 29 September to
2 October.
Well done, Kirsty. |

Rachel grabs
the Gold! |

| Rachel Piggott (Grade
8) who represented SA in the U15
Badminton at the All Africa Games in
Mauritius recently, has returned with a
fistful of medals and trophies. She has
really done her country proud by winning
gold in her individual game and silver
in the doubles. The badminton team beat
Ghana in the finals and brought home the
gold medal. |

Gina Lofstrand wins Gold at
South African Duathlon Championships |

Gena
Lofstrand, who is in Grade 9M represented Kwa - Zulu Natal at
the South African Duathlon Championships on Saturday 29 May 2010
and won.
She competed in the junior race and was the first girl overall
to cross the finish line, winning her a gold medal and the S A
Duathlon champ title in the 14-15 category. |
